The logo is of an axe cutting in half a fasces. The fasces is a symbol heavily identified with the rise of fascist Italy leading to WWII. The Arditi del Popolo (translates as The People's Daring Ones) was an Italian anti-fascist group founded at the end of June 1921 to resist the rise of Benito Mussolini's National Fascist Party and the violence of the Blackshirts paramilitaries. Nearly a century later, the threat of authoritarianism still surrounds all free men and women. This is not a hat meant to preach or encourage violence in any capacity. We are not associated with ANTIFA or any other political group or Leftist movement. This is simply solidarity and remembrance of a historical image with certain significance throughout the world today.
